What we’re seeking:

• Valid California licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective intervention plans specific to students’ IEP goals
• Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in documentation and progress monitoring

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ strengths and needs related to school performance
• Develop targeted goals and individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services, often in both individual and group formats
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing valuable OT insight
• Communicate with teachers and staff to support classroom accommodations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in adherence to district and legal guidelines
• Educate families and staff on strategies to support student success in and outside of the classroom
