Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
- Prior experience working as an OT within a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of pediatric developmental and sensory needs
- Adept at adapting interventions to meet Individualized Education Program (IEP) requirements
- Effective communicator with students, families, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to support students’ participation in academic and daily activities
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress according to district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to developing student goals
- Consult with caregivers and provide resources to foster student success both at school and at home
