Exciting contract opportunity available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to make a meaningful impact in educational settings near Berkeley, CA! This part-time position offers the unique chance to collaborate across two welcoming districts, supporting students and partnering with dedicated educational teams.
Your assignment will be split between Robla School District at Mill Valley and San Rafael SD in San Rafael, working 4 days per week throughout the academic year from August 17th, 2026 to June 11th, 2027. While specific caseload details are forthcoming, you’ll have the rewarding role of helping children thrive by fostering independence and participation in school activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California OT license required
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Pediatric and multi-site experience is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students per IEPs
- Assess, document, and routinely monitor student progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
- Travel between the two assigned districts as scheduled
- Adapt and develop materials or strategies to support students’ unique needs
