Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, patient, and motivated to help students achieve their goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom environments and instructional strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on student progress and recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school and regulatory requirements
