Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Compassionate, patient, and motivated to help students achieve their goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and assessments for students with diverse needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom environments and instructional strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on student progress and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school and regulatory requirements
  • Offer training and resources to families and school staff to support students’ continued development
