Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working in schools, especially with K-12 populations
• Understanding of the unique challenges within educational and healthcare settings
• Proficient in assessing, planning, and providing direct and consultative OT services
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Deliver occupational therapy services for K-12 students based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Evaluate students using relevant assessment tools and make recommendations for interventions
• Develop and implement therapeutic activities to address fine motor, sensory, and life skills
• Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student inclusion and success
