What You’ll Need:

  • Active OT license (or eligibility) in Michigan.
  • Experience providing occupational therapy to K–12 students, particularly those with disabilities (autism, cognitive/emotional impairments, learning disabilities, etc.).
  • Familiarity with school-based OT practice and IEP processes.
  • Ability to travel to multiple school locations within Berrien County.
  • Commitment to supporting student growth and participating in multidisciplinary teams.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to a caseload of 55–65 students.
  • Address functional and adaptive needs of students to help maximize participation in the educational environment.
  • Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families.
  • Develop and implement individualized goals and interventions.
  • Document services provided and track student progress in accordance with IEP requirements.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions.
