In this contract role, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated educational team to provide occupational therapy services tailored to the diverse needs of children and adolescents. Expect a 35-hour weekly schedule, following the assigned school calendar, with placement and specific assignment details based on evolving district needs.
Qualifications and Licenses:
- Current and active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy license
- Educational Specialist I or II Certificate (required)
- Willingness and ability to work in Carbon or Lehigh County as assigned
- Availability for standard school-day schedules, up to 35 hours per week
- Experience with pediatric, school-based, or special education therapy environments
- Comfortable supporting students with a broad range of disabilities and support requirements
- Able to attend and participate in an in-person interview
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services in school settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff on student progress and IEP goals
- Develop and implement treatment plans adhering to established educational guidelines
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for compliance with district and state standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute positively to the student support process
