With a minimum of 30 hours per week, you’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated team of OTs to provide essential services to students. You’ll have regular opportunities to connect with other OTs in the district, share resources, and maintain caseload continuity, so you never feel isolated in your work.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Alabama OT certification/licensure required (documentation needed before placement)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to onsite services—remote or virtual options are not available
- Flexible, collaborative, and eager to engage with a supportive multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions to students, promoting their progress in academic and functional skills
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in IEP development
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with staff and families
