Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state
  • Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
  • Understanding of IEPs and ability to contribute to multi-disciplinary planning
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and resourcefulness in addressing student needs
  • NDegree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy services tailored to each student’s needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor progress on therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with ethical standards and district guidelines
  • Participate in meetings and contribute insights for student-centered planning
  • Support students in developing daily living, motor, and social-emotional skills to facilitate access to curriculum
