Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ occupational therapy needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals.
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Provide consultation and training to school personnel on strategies to support students’ occupational therapy needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license.
- Previous experience working in school-based occupational therapy.
- Knowledge of child development and educational interventions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
