Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience in school-based Occupational Therapy settings preferred
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs for K-12 students
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and school environments

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students, addressing a variety of needs in both individual and group settings
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement accommodations and modifications promoting student success
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports according to school and state guidelines
  • Educate students, families, and school staff on OT strategies and assistive technology
  • Actively contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
