Desired Background and Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with active state credentials
  • Prior experience in schools, home health, or clinical settings (school-based experience highly preferred)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to different student needs and environments
  • Skill in evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ functional skills, motor development, and sensory processing relevant to their learning environment
  • Develop and execute individualized therapy sessions onsite based on IEP goals
  • Consult and communicate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate strategies for student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Adjust scheduling and caseload management in response to assessment demands
