This contract, onsite position offers a dynamic full-time schedule of 32.5 hours per week, working hands-on with K-12 students for the 2026/27 academic year. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong commitment to meeting the unique individual needs of K-12 students
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a diverse range of student abilities and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
- Conduct assessments and develop targeted intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services, progress notes, and updates on student performance
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student development
- Provide expertise and resources that empower educators and caregivers to facilitate student learning and independence
