What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working with grades K, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and high school students
  • Prior school-based OT experience is highly valued
  • Strong communication skills when collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Commitment to fostering student development and independence
  • Adaptability to various learning styles and classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments to determine students’ needs for occupational therapy
  • Developing tailored intervention plans and therapeutic strategies for a diverse student population
  • Delivering direct and consultative OT services within both classroom and one-to-one settings
  • Maintaining consistent documentation of student progress and treatment plans
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary educational teams and participating in IEP meetings
  • Educating teachers and families about strategies and accommodations to support students’ success
  • Providing creative and engaging interventions that help students reach their fullest potential
