Kindergarten High School Occupational Therapist School Setting in Boston, MA

In this dynamic environment, you’ll engage with learners in Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th grade, and high school—making each day unique. Your expertise will help foster independence and boost confidence in students facing a variety of needs. You’ll collaborate closely with educational staff to carry out individualized plans and create supportive learning spaces.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license or eligibility in Massachusetts
• Previous experience working in school settings preferred
• Ability to design and adapt therapy interventions for students from Kindergarten through High School
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Eagerness to partner with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Comfortable providing therapy in both individual and small group formats
• Willingness to adapt to a hybrid work environment when needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate student needs and develop targeted treatment plans
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, adjusting techniques as needed
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and district requirements
• Consult with teachers and staff to foster inclusive, supportive classrooms
• Provide resources, strategies, and education to school teams and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and help set meaningful, achievable goals
• Support smooth transitions for students as they progress through grade levels
