Apply NowA skilled Occupational Therapist is needed to provide support for students across multiple grade levels, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, at a school in Boston, MA. This contract position has an immediate start and is expected to continue through the end of the academic year, with potential extension into July.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students’ individual educational needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Develop and implement therapy plans that promote functional skills, sensory processing, and fine motor development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapeutic techniques within the classroom environment
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with all relevant regulations and policies
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license, with experience in school-based settings preferred
- Proven ability to work effectively with children from K-12, including diverse learning needs
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to cover until the end of the school year and ideally through July
