Grades K - 5 Grades 6 - 8 Occupational Therapist School Setting in Boston, MA

As an integral part of a dedicated educational team, you’ll work closely with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous school-based OT experience with students in grades K-12 is highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and related documentation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt interventions across wide age and functional levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate records and provide progress updates on students’ development
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program planning
• Empower and educate caregivers and staff in appropriate techniques
