Your responsibilities will involve assessment, treatment planning, and direct intervention for students requiring occupational therapy services. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to promote each student’s independence and participation in school activities. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Nevada State Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Experience in schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy settings welcomed
- Skilled in developing and implementing fine and gross motor interventions
- Comfortable working with COTAs and within a school-based therapy model
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
- Caseload details provided during the interview to ensure the right fit
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver on-site occupational therapy services within IEP requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, COTAs, and families to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate records of student progress
- Adapt interventions to a variety of learning and developmental needs
