Occupational Therapist School Setting - Boulder, CO

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
• Previous experience in a school-based OT role preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document progress
• Flexible, adaptable approach to working with diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify student needs related to fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to each student’s educational plan
• Collaborate with teachers and educational teams to support IEP goals and integrate therapy into classroom routines
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
• Document assessments, treatment sessions, and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
• Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to maximize student success in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on student progress and recommendations
