Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
- Previous experience in a school-based OT role preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document progress
- Flexible, adaptable approach to working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to identify student needs related to fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs tailored to each student’s educational plan
- Collaborate with teachers and educational teams to support IEP goals and integrate therapy into classroom routines
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
- Document assessments, treatment sessions, and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to maximize student success in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on student progress and recommendations
