Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Colorado (or ability to obtain before start)
  • Prior experience delivering OT services to school-aged children, including assessments and interventions
  • Familiarity with educational IEP processes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Ability to manage a caseload and effectively document progress in compliance with school and state guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy services to students within assigned schools, adapting interventions according to individual needs
  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations
  • Develop and implement IEP goals supporting classroom participation, motor skills, and daily living activities
  • Collaborate with teachers to design strategies that foster student engagement and inclusion
  • Maintain accurate records and regularly communicate progress with team members and caregivers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions as a valued voice in students’ educational journeys
