Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Maryland
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP procedures and documentation
  • Adaptable, compassionate, and skilled in both individual and group sessions
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans as part of the IEP process
  • Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure cohesive therapy services
  • Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in classroom and pull-out settings
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting approaches as needed
  • Support staff with classroom strategies and resources to foster student independence
