School Occupational Therapist | Brandon, Mississippi

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interpret findings to inform individualized education plans
• Develop and implement therapy interventions to support students’ access to the curriculum and school participation
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote functional skills and goal achievement
• Provide direct and consultative services, maintaining documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, student conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings as needed
• Educate and guide school staff on accommodations and best practices to support student success

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for supporting students of varied backgrounds and abilities
