Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in Indiana
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

  • Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and related service staff
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for individualized student care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assess developmental, sensory, and functional abilities to determine student needs
  • Develop and implement targeted intervention strategies to support classroom participation and independence
  • Provide consultative support to teachers and families to optimize learning environments
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for student growth
  • Educate staff and caregivers on techniques that promote skill development throughout the school day
