Your expertise in pediatric occupational therapy will help students overcome challenges, improve their functional skills, and succeed in their educational environments. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of educators and specialists, providing services aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid California Occupational Therapist license
  • Previous experience supporting children or adolescents, ideally in a school setting
  • Proactive communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable working onsite in an in-person setting for the duration of the assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
  • Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports in alignment with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff to ensure cohesive support
  • Provide strategies and interventions for diverse learning needs and adaptive skills
