Occupational Therapist School Setting in Brentwood, CA

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one before the start of the school year
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though enthusiastic recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple caseloads
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with developing IEP goals and documenting progress

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive OT services, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring in accordance with IEPs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Work closely with teachers and staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in regular meetings and ongoing professional development
• Communicate with families to ensure a consistent approach and provide updates on student progress
