Step into a meaningful role providing direct Occupational Therapy services to students in a supportive charter school environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated OT eager to make an immediate impact with a small, manageable caseload. You’ll work closely with three students who have not received essential therapy since March, helping them regain momentum and reach their goals within the school setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for New York State
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Understanding of sensory integration, fine motor, and self-care intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Compassion for students who have experienced gaps in support
  • Ability to begin assignment promptly

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct OT services to three students as outlined in their individualized plans
  • Assess needs, develop measurable goals, and document progress
  • Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to support student participation and success
  • Remain flexible and responsive to evolving needs throughout the assignment
  • Ensure compliance with all school and district guidelines
