We are seeking two dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential within the school setting. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of New York
  • Degree from an accredited OT program
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and IEP processes
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Passion for fostering student independence and participation in classroom environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans to support educational goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across the district
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute therapy goals and progress updates
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Adapt strategies and interventions to address diverse student needs
  • Provide guidance and resources to staff and families to promote carryover of skills
  • Assist with classroom modifications and sensory supports as needed
