School Occupational Therapist - Bridgeport, Connecticut

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• Experience with children in a school setting preferred; open to COTA with relevant experience
• Ability to deliver both direct therapy and consultative services
• Skilled in adapting interventions for varied student needs
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff

What You'll Do:

• Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to integrate occupational therapy strategies within the classroom
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate on goal development
• Engage in ongoing communication with families and team members
• Provide support for extended school year programming
