Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
- Experience with children in a school setting preferred; open to COTA with relevant experience
- Ability to deliver both direct therapy and consultative services
- Skilled in adapting interventions for varied student needs
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
What You'll Do:
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to integrate occupational therapy strategies within the classroom
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate on goal development
- Engage in ongoing communication with families and team members
- Provide support for extended school year programming
