Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • School-based experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with staff, families, and students
  • Capacity to adapt therapeutic techniques to diverse student populations

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills to support academic performance
  • Document interventions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Educate staff and families on strategies to reinforce occupational therapy goals within classroom and home environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise regarding accommodations, modifications, and assistive devices
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current on evidence-based practices in school occupational therapy
