Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in Connecticut
• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• School-based OT experience is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students needing OT services
• Implement therapeutic interventions that promote students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills
• Document progress and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom modifications
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support student participation and independence
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state policies
