Essential Skills and Background:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active OT license in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or early intervention settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, intervention, and therapy services to students in early intervention and elementary grade levels
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to goal-setting for students with diverse learning and developmental needs
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and legal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and parent conferences as needed
  • Adapt and implement evidence-based strategies to support student participation and success in daily classroom and school activities
  • Educate teachers and families on strategies and tools to enhance student progress
