Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in state of assignment
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of IEP process and documentation
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Skilled in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and abilities
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Document progress and maintain compliance with required reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for supports/services
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-care, and social skills
- Advocate for tools and modifications that promote student independence
