Ideal candidates will demonstrate a passion for pediatric therapy, strong communication skills, and adaptability in a dynamic school setting. As occupational therapist, you'll be instrumental in helping students achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in state of assignment
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IEP process and documentation
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Skilled in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and abilities
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with required reporting
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for supports/services
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-care, and social skills
  • Advocate for tools and modifications that promote student independence
