This assignment requires the delivery of 8 total hours of onsite occupational therapy services, scheduled for maximum convenience and effectiveness for the family. Virtual sessions are not an option for this request; your compassionate, face-to-face care will allow you to truly connect and make a positive difference.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts required
  • Previous experience in school-based, home health, or compensatory OT settings highly valued
  • Strong skills in providing individualized treatment based on student needs
  • Excellent communication and adaptability, especially in non-traditional service delivery contexts
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice standards
  • Comfort navigating unique service situations and collaborating with families

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and deliver compensatory occupational therapy services as mandated
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with the student’s family
  • Document services and progress in adherence with state and district expectations
  • Coordinate with school and district personnel as needed for compliance
