School Occupational Therapist | Bristol, Connecticut

Assignment Dates: ASAP through February 9, 2027
Work Hours: 35 hours per week, onsite coverage
Position: 1 opening for district-wide support

Qualifications:

• Current, active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Connecticut
• Previous experience in a school-setting preferred, with a strong understanding of IEPs, sensory integration, and fine/gross motor interventions for school-aged children
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to connect with educators, support staff, students, and families
• Ability to travel to and work at multiple schools as assigned within the district
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability to varying caseload needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students on a district-wide basis
• Assess and document student progress, develop and implement treatment plans based on IEP goals
• Collaborate with special education professionals, teachers, and parents to modify and adapt learning environments and classroom materials
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with local and state regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and related school community activities as needed
