Make a meaningful impact working with K-12 students by providing Occupational Therapy services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract role runs from July 6, 2025, to August 7, 2025, and offers a manageable schedule of 30 hours weekly—6 hours each weekday—so you have consistency and balance throughout the summer.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials to practice in the state
- Previous experience delivering OT services in school settings preferred
- Comfortable providing care to students across the K-12 age range
- Prior exposure to ESY programs is a plus
- Safe Care Certification is preferred but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver individualized Occupational Therapy interventions to support student learning and participation
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEP goals related to sensory, motor, and adaptive functioning
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and parents to encourage best outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate records and document services provided as required by the school program
- Offer consultative support to classroom teams for recommendations around accommodations and modifications
