Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current and valid OT license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience working in a school setting or with children/adolescents is highly desirable
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to support students across various grade levels (K-12)
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the needs of students and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services onsite, targeting essential areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
  • Adapt and modify tasks to support student participation in academic and social activities
  • Collaborate closely with school staff and families to support student success
  • Maintain clear and accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to ongoing goal setting
  • Offer expertise and training to teachers and caregivers as needed

This full-time position (32.5 hours per week) offers a consistent schedule onsite, allowing you to build meaningful connections within the school community. The caseload will be determined based on student needs, providing variety and the chance to work with a broad age range.
