Certified Grades K - 5 Occupational Therapist School Setting in Bronx, NY

Make a meaningful impact by providing occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting near Bronx, NY. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through the end of the 2025-2026 school year, supporting learners from kindergarten through high school (grades K-12). You’ll work with a diverse caseload focusing on children and young adults with autism, ages 5 to 21.

Qualifications/Experience Desired:

• Current OT certification required
• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in NY
• Experience with school-aged students across elementary, middle, and high school
• Familiarity supporting students with autism spectrum disorder
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to a variety of age and developmental levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and other specialists to maximize student success
• Assess student needs, set goals, and document progress
• Develop creative, engaging treatment plans for students in grades K-12
• Provide consultation and strategies to teachers and support personnel for effective classroom integration
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment
