Job Details

• Full-time Occupational Therapist position
• Elementary caseload across three schools
• Stay at one school building each workday
• Rotate among buildings on different days
• No daily interschool travel

• Pay: $54+ per hour, depending on experience

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license
• Experience supporting sensory processing and self-regulation
• Experience working within special education settings
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• District-specific credential requirements to be confirmed

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ occupational therapy needs
• Create student-centered intervention plans
• Provide services supporting functional school skills
• Recommend strategies promoting classroom engagement and independence
• Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and special education staff
• Participate in IEP planning and progress reviews
• Maintain accurate student records and service documentation
