Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in Michigan (OT required)
  • Previous experience providing OT services in school settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students per Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Assess students' abilities and develop targeted intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families to maximize student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on goals and accommodations
  • Utilize a variety of techniques to address fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom performance
  • Offer guidance and training to school staff on strategies and supports for students
