In this role, you'll serve a diverse caseload of K-12 students in dynamic school settings, collaborating with teachers and special education staff to deliver essential therapy services. Your ability to adapt, communicate, and creatively address students’ needs will make an immediate impact. This position is entirely onsite at well-respected elementary and secondary schools.
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Demonstrated previous classroom experience with students of varying abilities
- Understanding of school-based OT practices and IEP development
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
- Availability to commit to an August 4, 2026, start through October 30, 2026
- Passion for empowering K-12 learners across multiple grade levels
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy sessions for a caseload of approximately 50 students
- Assess, document, and track students’ progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and fellow service providers
- Travel between assigned schools within the Nederland and Boulder area
- Maintain thorough and timely reporting and compliance documentation
