Occupational Therapist School Setting - Broomfield, CO

Qualifications & Experience

• Current and active Occupational Therapy (OT) license is required
• Prior experience providing OT services in a school setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families
• Knowledgeable about individualized education programs (IEPs) and the development of therapy goals
• Organizational skills suitable for managing documentation and planning intervention sessions

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, onsite occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20 students
• Perform assessments, develop, and monitor individualized treatment and intervention plans
• Collaborate with educational teams, teachers, and families to support student success in the classroom
• Document student progress and maintain accurate and timely records
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multi-disciplinary approach to student support
• Provide guidance and training to school staff as needed regarding OT strategies and accommodations
