This onsite contract opportunity allows you to apply your expertise as an Occupational Therapist, working directly with a manageable caseload in a collaborative and rewarding school environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Current and active Occupational Therapy (OT) license is required
- Prior experience providing OT services in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families
- Knowledgeable about individualized education programs (IEPs) and the development of therapy goals
- Organizational skills suitable for managing documentation and planning intervention sessions
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, onsite occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20 students
- Perform assessments, develop, and monitor individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Collaborate with educational teams, teachers, and families to support student success in the classroom
- Document student progress and maintain accurate and timely records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multi-disciplinary approach to student support
- Provide guidance and training to school staff as needed regarding OT strategies and accommodations
