Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Maine
• Previous experience in a school environment or working with school-aged children preferred
• Ability to design and implement individualized intervention plans for a diverse student population (K-12)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Effective time management to deliver therapy within the compressed summer program schedule
• Reliable, organized, and dedicated to student success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and deliver direct intervention services during ESY to support students’ educational goals
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to adapt and modify learning environments and materials
• Document progress notes, maintain compliance with school and state documentation requirements
• Provide consultation and strategies to staff and families to facilitate student participation and independence
• Adapt interventions for varying age and developmental levels as needed across K-12 students
• Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality at all times
