As a travel OT, each day will bring new learning experiences and exposure to diverse workplace practices. You’ll work with students aged Early Intervention through elementary, broadening your skill set, and developing creative solutions as you collaborate with dedicated educational teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 25 students, focusing on Early Intervention and elementary-aged children
- Develop individualized plans and actively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Maintain a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, ensuring consistent support across the school week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active OT license in Illinois (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in school settings, especially with EI or elementary-aged populations, is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to compassion, creativity, and evidence-based practice
