This assignment begins August 20, 2026, and runs through November 3, 2026. You’ll work full-time (37.5 hours per week) with early childhood and kindergarten students, deepening your skills and expanding your professional network. Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience with early childhood and kindergarten students preferred
- Familiarity with school-based OT practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in new educational environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to early childhood and kindergarten students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop individualized plans
- Assess and document student progress in accordance with school/district guidelines
- Support classroom participation and inclusion through therapeutic interventions
- Attend meetings, contribute to team planning, and provide staff education as needed
