Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a current Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) valid for school practice
  • Previous experience as a school-based OT or related pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and educational therapy documentation
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
  • Proven ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
  • Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads, schedules, and paperwork

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs and school guidelines
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and parents to develop and implement treatment strategies
  • Monitor and document each student’s progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and professional development opportunities as required
  • Maintain accurate records, timely reports, and ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines
