School Occupational Therapist - Burleson, Texas

This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive educational setting near Burleson, TX, serving a diverse caseload of approximately 45–60 students. Your expertise will help students develop essential skills for classroom success and daily life, collaborating with other education professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) in Texas, issued by the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
• Previous school-based OT experience is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
• Ability to adapt to varying grade levels and student needs
• Dedication to fostering student independence, participation, and overall success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of student progress and services provided
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure seamless integration of therapy into students’ educational programs
• Attend and participate in required meetings, contributing insights for student support teams
• Provide consultation and recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive strategies

This rewarding position is structured with consistent hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, following the academic calendar.
