Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education documentation
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support student participation within the school environment
