Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota (or eligibility).
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred, but open to those with strong pediatric or educational setting backgrounds.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing targeted intervention plans, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and fostering student independence.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred for occupational therapy services.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address sensory, motor, and adaptive skills within the classroom environment.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student IEP goals.
- Maintain ongoing progress notes, service documentation, and provide recommendations for classroom adaptations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed throughout the school year.
