Make an impact in a Minnesota school community by supporting elementary students as a contract Occupational Therapist during the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full-time, on-site position providing hands-on support to young learners and collaborating with a dedicated OT team as you help students reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold current Minnesota Occupational Therapist licensure
- Experience working in K-12 school settings, especially at the elementary level, highly preferred
- Comfortable dividing caseload and working collaboratively with other OTs
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills
- Commitment to on-site service (remote/virtual work not available for this assignment)
- Ability to start August 17, 2026 and commit through May 28, 2027
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students, addressing individual education plan (IEP) goals
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress reports
- Participate in pre-service meetings with the OT department to determine caseload and school assignments
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure effective interventions
- Foster student independence, participation, and success within the school environment
