Make an impact in a Minnesota school community by supporting elementary students as a contract Occupational Therapist during the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full-time, on-site position providing hands-on support to young learners and collaborating with a dedicated OT team as you help students reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must hold current Minnesota Occupational Therapist licensure
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings, especially at the elementary level, highly preferred
  • Comfortable dividing caseload and working collaboratively with other OTs
  • Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills
  • Commitment to on-site service (remote/virtual work not available for this assignment)
  • Ability to start August 17, 2026 and commit through May 28, 2027

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students, addressing individual education plan (IEP) goals
  • Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress reports
  • Participate in pre-service meetings with the OT department to determine caseload and school assignments
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure effective interventions
  • Foster student independence, participation, and success within the school environment
