The assignment will run from September 21st to January 4th, with no work required during winter break. There is a potential for extension once the leave of absence concludes.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license and relevant credentials
• Demonstrated experience working as an OT in K-12 school environments, especially with special education populations
• Familiarity providing services to students qualifying for Setting IV special education
• Ability to successfully complete onboarding and required background checks
• Reliable transportation to ensure punctual attendance
• Good standing from prior school assignments if already credentialed in local districts
• Willingness to work the assigned school schedule and adapt to assignment timelines

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy interventions aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with special education teams, classroom staff, and families to optimize student support
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in student evaluations as required
• Provide consultative strategies for faculty and staff to enhance students’ school participation
• Maintain clear records and contribute to team meetings
• Uphold professional standards and all district policies throughout the assignment
