Multiple contract opportunities are currently available for those passionate about supporting students receiving special education services. Each position offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and work closely with students who benefit from Setting IV and other specialized placements.
Choose from several open roles:
- Leave of Absence (Aug 31 – approx. Nov 13): North Education Center, 32 hours/week (4 days), serving students in Setting IV special education.
- Leave of Absence (Sept 21 – Jan 4, break during winter break): South Education Center, 40 hours/week (5 days), Setting IV focus.
- Full School Year: Split locations (south metro and Ann Bremmer Education Center), 20 hours/week, students range from various placements to all Setting IV.
- Pending Full-time (awaiting district confirmation): Full-time hours to be confirmed.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience is required
- Able to fulfill all onboarding and district background checks
- Professional standing from prior placements if already credentialed
- Reliable transportation for potential split-site roles
- Adaptability to school schedules and assignment timelines
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress
- Engage in ongoing communication with faculty and families to ensure students’ needs are met
- Flexibly manage caseloads and adapt to assignment changes as needed
