Occupational Therapist School Setting - California, MD

Make a meaningful impact in the educational journey of students as an Occupational Therapist serving the south end of the county. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 10th, 2026, through June 17th, 2027, providing the chance to work closely with dedicated educational professionals and support student growth and development. Two positions are available, offering a collaborative and engaging work environment.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current and active Maryland Occupational Therapist license
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and participation in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills to interact with educators, families, and students
• Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs
• Previous work in a school setting is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting their academic and functional needs
• Evaluate and assess student abilities, developing individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
• Adapt therapy interventions based on each student's evolving needs and goals
