This contract position offers the opportunity to deliver vital support as a licensed Occupational Therapist, serving students on the South End of the county. Working closely with educators and families, your expertise will help shape a nurturing and inclusive learning experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active OT license in Maryland required
  • Previous school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to create individualized treatment plans for a diverse caseload

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs and established goals
  • Assess students’ fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and support staff to integrate interventions into classroom routines
  • Maintain meticulous records of session notes, progress, and communication with families
  • Offer consultative support and training to staff and parents, as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions to develop holistic approaches for student support

This full-time assignment runs from August 10, 2026, to June 17, 2027. You will manage a targeted caseload alongside a professional support network, fostering growth and skills development in students across the district.
