In this position, you'll work with an infant and toddler caseload within a robust school district, focusing primarily on Child Find services. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through June 17, 2027, providing the chance to influence developmental outcomes during the most formative years.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license issued by the state of Maryland
  • Previous school-based experience or familiarity with early intervention strongly preferred
  • Confidence in managing diverse needs within an infant and toddler population
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both with students and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to document, assess, and collaborate efficiently in a fast-paced educational environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy for infants and toddlers
  • Support the Child Find mandate by identifying and serving young children with delays or disabilities
  • Work closely with families and caregivers to facilitate at-home support and participation
  • Collaborate with educators and other specialists to create an inclusive, accessible educational environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
