Desired Background & Skills:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the Vancouver region

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students from diverse backgrounds
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate therapy strategies and support educational goals
• Document progress, report findings, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate families and caregivers on at-home strategies to reinforce therapeutic techniques
• Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines and professional standards
