A full-time occupational therapist opportunity is available within a school setting in Cambridge, MA. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year. The role involves conducting district evaluations and managing a small caseload, providing direct therapy services to students to support their developmental and educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct district evaluations to assess student needs and eligibility for occupational therapy services.
  • Manage and provide individualized OT services to a small caseload of students.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement appropriate therapy goals and interventions.
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families and school personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
  • Strong understanding of school system protocols and district evaluation procedures.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while providing high-quality therapy services.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Availability to start immediately and commitment through the end of the school year.
