School Occupational Therapist - Cambridge, Massachusetts

This contract position is seeking two full-time Occupational Therapists to provide essential support in elementary school settings within the Cambridge, MA area. The roles are ideal for therapists skilled in school-based occupational therapy, with experience across healthcare and home health environments considered valuable. The contract will run from as soon as possible through June 12th.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering occupational therapy services tailored to the developmental needs of elementary school students
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to create individualized intervention plans
• Conducting assessments and monitoring student progress to ensure achievement of therapy goals
• Implementing therapeutic activities in classroom and clinical settings to enhance student participation and learning

Desired qualifications and experience:

• License to practice Occupational Therapy in Massachusetts
• Demonstrable experience in school-based occupational therapy, including evaluation and treatment of children in elementary education
• Knowledge of healthcare and home health occupational therapy practices is a plus
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and healthcare teams
